Be it a vineyard, an olive tree, a trail, a restaurant hall, what strikes us is everything that reflects what we are and what we search for. Do we need a guide for that? I don't think so. But if I had to suggest a way to visit Valpolicella, I would choose riding a Vespa through hills and dirt roads off the beaten track. That is how I came to know it so well. And also walking on trails and listening to people chatting in osteria. As I still do so often. These are places where you listen to real tales, tales of people who really lived the territory...like that day when somebody told me a beautiful and sweet tale, about how the corvina grape was born. I felt like the luckiest person in the world, and I will tell this tale to you!
